Eric Gudgel Is the Champion of the Senior State Amateur Championship

What a week at Meadowbrook! We would like to congratulate Eric Gudgel in capturing the championship.  Gudgel defeated Mike Gotcher 3 & 2 in the finals on Thursday morning. Gotcher outlasted Terry Collier 3 & 1 and Gudgel defeated Chris Laughlin 2 up in the semifinals on Wednesday afternoon. In the qualifying round, 32 players shot a score of 80 or better qualified for match play.  The OGA would like to thank Steve Ramsey, Pat McTigue, Mike Long, and the staff and membership of Meadowbrook Country Club for a wonderful tournament!  Click below for more information and click the link above to Golf Oklahoma for the full story.
