Eligibility
All Oklahoma resident golfers who are current/former members of Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour and have participated in at least two (2) OGA/OJGT events prior to qualifying for either the USGA U.S. Junior Amateur, USGA U.S. Junior Girls’, USGA U.S. Amateur, or the USGA U.S. Women’s Amateur. Participants in the U.S. Amateur or U.S. Women’s Amateur must also be 25 years of age or younger to be eligible for this grant.
Reimbursement
Upon application by the golfer or his/her parent or legal guardian of the golfer, the OGAF will reimburse up to $2,000.00 of the golfer’s (and/or parent or guardian) expenses incurred in attending and participating in the aforementioned USGA Championship. These expenses would include transportation, lodging, meals, entry fees, caddie and practice fees as authorized by the USGA Rules of Amateur Status. All expenses must have supporting documents to be considered for reimbursement.
Residency
For purposes of the Policy, the eligible golfer must verify that he/she has lived with their parent(s) or legal guardian within Oklahoma at least six (6) months prior to the first day of the USGA Championship.
Deadline for Submission
The following form and all supporting documentation must be submitted in its entirety sixty (60) days after the final day of the USGA Championship. Submissions after this period will not be considered for reimbursement.
Exceptions and/or Modification
In the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of the Foundation, any or all of the provisions of this Policy may be modified, amended, or waived by the Board for any reason deemed appropriate.
