Hale Wins 109th Oklahoma Open

Congratulations to Blaine Hale, 109th Oklahoma Open Champion!   Hale fired a 64 to finish at 16 under par to win by one stroke over Max McGreevy.  The tournament was played under perfect scoring conditions and the scores reflected that.   Parker Sands fired an 11 under par 59 to set the course record by 2 strokes on the East Course in Round 2!  Oak Tree Country Club in Edmond was the host for the 109th Oklahoma Open on August 24-26. We have been coming to Oak Tree for many years and are very appreciative to the club for allowing the tournament to be played here.   There were 6 former champions in the field among the 150 players.  The cut was 2 under 138 for the low 40 and ties after the 2nd round.  Carson Griggs had a Hole in One on #8 in the second round and had another one on #6 in the final round!  We would like to thank Kevin Wagner, staff and membership of Oak Tree Country Club for another great tournament.
