Chandler Phillips is the 2022 Oklahoma Open Champion

What a great 3 days!  Congratulations to Chandler Phillips, Oklahoma Open Champion.  Phillips finished with a 15 under par total to win by 3 strokes over Christian Jalomo.  Lane Wallace of ORU was the Low Amateur.  The wind picked up for the final round but it was still hot and muggy.  The final round players were not separated by many strokes and it was nip and tuck the back nine.  The cut was 2 under par and 48 players qualified with  Phillips leading the way at 12 under par, 128.   The weather was perfect for scoring and the field went very low all rounds.  The 2022 Oklahoma Open was at Oak Tree Country Club on August 25-27 in Edmond.  We had 144 players in the field with current OGA champions, college players, and former Oklahoma Open champions highlighting the field.  There was a cut after the second round to the low 40 and ties.  The weather was fantastic for all three days.  For more information click, on the links below.  For the full story, go to golfoklahoma.org.
