OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – The Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour (OJGT) headed to southwest Oklahoma City for the Earlywine Spring Challenge at Earlywine Golf Course on April 12-13, 2025. The Saturday round was played on the Lakes course, and Sunday was played on the North course. The spring in Oklahoma again brought heavy winds with steady winds of 25 mph with gusts to 40.
Chase Blaser of Edmond, OK came back from a one – stroke deficit after Day #1 to take the title. He posted the only under par round of entire weekend with 3-under 69. He made 7 birdies in the final round en-route to a three stroke margin of victory over Benson Diehm of Norman, OK. This is Chase Blaser’s first victory of 2025 following up his win at the Red River Team Challenge last fall.
The champion in the Girl’s Division was Maddie Myers of Manhattan, KS. She shared the overnight lead with Abbie Justiz of Arcadia, OK with matching 74’s. Despite a slow start on Day #2, she righted the ship firing a 78 on the more demanding North to win her first-ever OJGT title.
