A desired candidate should have the following traits/experience:
- Background in golf and interest in golf administration as a career preferred.
- Self-motivated and personable with strong work ethic and enthusiasm.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Excellent written, verbal and customer service skills.
- Good leadership and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and spend extended periods of time in extreme outdoor conditions.
- Flexibility to work extended days, early mornings, some weekends and travel overnight.
- Access to own means of transportation.
The compensation is $14 per hour. Job expenses would also be covered (mileage, staff uniforms, meals while traveling, etc.). Six-month applicants are expected to work full-time during the summer months (May – Return to School in August, then weekends only during September – October). Four-month applicants are expected to work full-time during the summer months (May – Return to School in August).
Positions are open until filled. Applications are usually accepted starting early fall of the preceding year.
