BROKEN ARROW, OK – Battling soaring temperatures throughout the week, competitors in the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour’s Indian Springs Summer Classic showcased perseverance and outstanding golf at Indian Springs Country Club. With temperatures climbing into the low 100’s and heat indices well into the triple digits on both days, the challenging conditions tested every player before champions were crowned on Tuesday afternoon.
The Boys Division came down to an exciting playoff between Nathan Brown of Tulsa and Cohen Museousky of Wichita, Kansas, after both players finished 36 holes at 6-under-par 138. Brown opened the tournament with a spectacular 8-under 64 before carding a second-round 74 to earn a share of the lead.
After the pair matched each other on the opening playoff hole, Brown sealed the victory with a birdie on the second playoff hole, capturing his second Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour title in dramatic fashion.
David Shepherd of Enid finished alone in third at 1-under-par 143, while Brody Boyd of Tulsa and Maverick Beeson of Norman tied for fourth at 1-over-par 145.
In the Girls Division, Mary Mills Olszewski of Oklahoma City put together two steady rounds of 75-78 to finish at 9-over-par 153, earning a four-shot victory. Kennedy Parker of Perkins finished runner-up at 13-over-par 157, while Kylie Fisher of Tahlequah claimed third at 16-over-par 160.
The Indian Springs Summer Classic marked another successful stop on the 2026 Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour schedule, with juniors displaying resilience while competing through some of the hottest conditions of the summer.
