2027 OJGT & OGA Junior Championship Registration Changes

As we enter the fall season for the Oklahoma Junior Golf Tour (OJGT), we want to make you aware of several registration changes that will take effect for the 2027 season.

These changes are based on feedback received through our 2026 survey, the unprecedented demand for OJGT/OGA Junior events, and our continued goal of keeping the OJGT at the forefront of competitive junior golf in Oklahoma.

OJGT Registration

Beginning in 2027, OJGT registration will be divided into two tiers: Priority Registration and First-Come, First-Serve Registration.

  1. Priority Registration

Priority Registration will be available to players who meet at least one of the following criteria:

      • OJGT past champion (any year)
      • Top 30 on the previous season’s OJGT Boys Player of the Year list
      • Top 20 on the previous season’s OJGT Girls Player of the Year list
      • Ranked 1,000 or better in the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings, based on rankings updated January 1, May 1, or August 1
      • Finished in the Top 5 of a current-year OJGT event
      • Competed in the U.S. Junior Amateur, U.S. Girls’ Junior, U.S. Amateur, or U.S. Women’s Amateur during the current or previous year
      • Competed in the Junior PGA Championship during the current or previous year.

The OJGT will reserve 40 spots per event for Priority Registration.

If all Priority Registration spots are not filled one month before the event’s registration deadline, any remaining spots will be released to First-Come, First-Serve Registration.
